Summer Weather & Stripes

I know it's been a VERY long time since I posted and I promise it was unintentional. Around late May life managed to get a little hectic and before I knew it, I was consumed with summer. The last few weeks we've spent a ton of time together as a family at the beach and it's been a fun summer with the boys - they are growing so fast. With that said, the blog and events have taken a back seat. However, I'm happy to report that things are ramping back up over here and I have some new blog posts in the works and I have a few events that are in the early planning stages - stay tuned for more details!

Needless to say, I've missed my little creative outlet and I'm happy to be back with some new content and hopefully more posts featuring my #momstyle and what I'm wearing day-to-day. Trust me, it's not glamorous, but it's real.

Since becoming a mom my style has changed a bit. I still love fashion, but it's all about easy looks, comfort and pieces that can be styled different ways - this dress checks all the boxes.

This crazy heat wave in the Northeast is making it impossible to think about Fall. I'm holding on to summer staples in every way possible and that includes light and airy dresses. There is something about this dress that I love - maybe it's because it creates an instant, no-fuss look and it's quickly become a favorite. I love the colors, stripes and I can see myself getting some extra mileage out of this piece by pairing it with denim and styling it more like a tunic once the temps dip a bit.

I'm so excited to be back and even though there might be pauses between posts you can also follow along here, here and via the LikeItKnow app. The app is such an easy way to shop my favorite looks, home goods and kiddo gear with direct links. I also created a Shop page where you can browse through featured favorites.

Thanks for following along my friends and I hope you have a great long weekend!
