Favorite Neutral Sweaters

The temps have officially dipped in New England and I’m excited to welcome sweater weather with open arms. My sweater collection consists of black, a little bit of navy and a lot of neutral tones. The latter is definitely what I own a majority of and I am always on the hunt for the perfect neutral.

Some of my favorites include this one from 525 America. It wears and washes so well and I love the fact that it maintains it’s shape and it doesn’t pile. I layer over a button down shirt for a more polished look or I will wear it under a vest for a more causal weekend look. This sweater was one of my most worn sweaters last winter.

This sweater blazer from JCrew is by far the most versatile sweater in my closet. I bought the Khaki color a couple of years ago and quickly realized I needed to add heather grey and black. I wear these blazer year-end and have worn them to the office as well on the weekends paired with a t-shirt and jeans. Truly a closet staple and the easiest way to look pulled together.

I also love a sweater with fun details (e.g. fringe details, a dolman sleeve or texture). A few favorites here, here and here. I always gravitate to any details that added a little dimension to what could otherwise be a boring sweater.

Here is a rounded up some of my favorites (mostly under $100).
